Equiem for Return to Work
Entice your tenants to return to work with Equiem
Returning to the workplace should be exciting. Equiem offers all the tools you’ll need to create a true sense of community and promote a thrilling Welcome Back campaign.
"Our aim is to make humans central to the process and build a real sense of community through the app. Equiem shares our vision – its team is open-minded, collaborative and forward-thinking."
(Former) Head of Smart Places
"Equiem has really helped us in three main ways. The first: communication. We’re now able to communicate to a wider range of occupants in our buildings. Second, it’s allowed us to activate our tenant amenity spaces much better. Third, it has allowed us to understand what our tenants' needs are, collect information from them about what they really want."
Vice President, Real Estate Services
"The Equiem platform has become even more important in finding ways to connect people without physical contact. These types of events are likely to develop fast as people will need more stimulus as parks and buildings become extremely quiet."
Director at JLL Property Management
"For office to survive in a post-COVID pandemic world, people have to feel safe. The way you feel safe is you communicate. You over-communicate. Equiem is one of the few out there that can provide that... We are firmly committed to Equiem because they are proven and we know they deliver."
Co-founder and CEO
"During the current (COVID-19) period, we have found Equiem has been a huge benefit, enabling us to ensure our all of occupiers are kept up to date with all relevant information they need."
Director and Head of Manchester & Leeds
"Through (Equiem), we have been able to share news, updates, resources and events easily as well as gain insights on what and how needs and behaviours have changed as the working dynamic has moved more towards home and flexi working."

Benefits to returning workers:
Plan and promote events
Demonstrate the thriving community in your building by hosting a spectacular return-to-work event. Promote Welcome Back events in multiple forms across the app – from newsletters to event feeds – and allow users to RSVP online.
Content that connects
Equiem’s content suite offers a direct line of communication with tenants, whether they are currently in-office or remote. With the right content plan, you can highlight the benefits of the office place as well as encourage onsite interaction in unique ways.
Showcase onsite amenities
Your building’s facilities and amenities are pivotal to engaging returning workers. Promote retailers, advertise bookable space, and even ask your tenants what features they’d love to see.
Return to work case studies:
Throw and promote thrilling Back to Work events
Located in the midst of Oxford city, this business park wanted to go big with their welcome back event. They hoped this event would serve as a reminder of the thriving sense of community that had always been a draw of their central campus.
Working alongside the client’s community manager, we devised an eight-week plan featuring promotional materials and events – all leading up to their huge BBQ mixer. We organized easel signage around their buildings as well as extensive online promotion in newsletters to generate anticipation.
The event went off without a hitch, featuring a BBQ meal and two free cocktails (or mocktails) provided by onsite vendors. And by the time the plates were cleaned, 576 new users to their tenant platform – an increase of 58%.
Leverage onsite retailers to entice workers back
Our client, a global landlord operating an A-grade office in Oklahoma, wanted to showcase their onsite coffee vendor who was preparing to relaunch after the pandemic. Their hope was that the buzz around the coffee shop could help draw their employees back to the office.
We spearheaded a campaign on the Equiem app, designed to showcase the coffee vendor. We also let employees know that if they RSVPd to the grand reopening, they’d receive a free coffee during their opening week.
100 employees RSVP’d, simultaneously boosting the profile of the vendor while also driving employees back to the client’s onsite amenities.
Design events you know users want
Eager to revive their campus atmosphere, one North Carolina client wanted to host an event that would draw people back to their eight-building precinct. They settled on an engagement campaign called “Fall Festival”, comprising onsite events.
The client wanted their tenants to feel that they had a voice in the festival. So we set up a poll to ask tenants what they wanted. The event was shaped according to the desires of the tenants, ultimately featuring a range of food trucks and activities that would be well received.
The event was a resounding success. People attended the event in droves, with attendance exceeding the number of RSVPs collected on the platform. Occupancy surged to 40% during the festival, and many people returned to work as a result.
