Equiem for Employees and Tenants
Work every day in a smart building that feels custom-made for you
The Equiem tenant experience is designed to transform the workplace into an extension of the people who work there. Our aim is to empower people in every moment – from the moment you walk through the lobby in the morning.

"Our aim is to make humans central to the process and build a real sense of community through the app. Equiem shares our vision – its team is open-minded, collaborative and forward-thinking."

Julian Barker
(Former) Head of Smart Places
"Equiem has really helped us in three main ways. The first: communication. We’re now able to communicate to a wider range of occupants in our buildings. Second, it’s allowed us to activate our tenant amenity spaces much better. Third, it has allowed us to understand what our tenants' needs are, collect information from them about what they really want."

Darrin Williams
Vice President, Real Estate Services
"The Equiem platform has become even more important in finding ways to connect people without physical contact. These types of events are likely to develop fast as people will need more stimulus as parks and buildings become extremely quiet."

Michael Purcell
Director at JLL Property Management
"For office to survive in a post-COVID pandemic world, people have to feel safe. The way you feel safe is you communicate. You over-communicate. Equiem is one of the few out there that can provide that... We are firmly committed to Equiem because they are proven and we know they deliver."

Christopher Rising
Co-founder and CEO
"During the current (COVID-19) period, we have found Equiem has been a huge benefit, enabling us to ensure our all of occupiers are kept up to date with all relevant information they need."

Sophie Weinmann
Director and Head of Manchester & Leeds
"Through (Equiem), we have been able to share news, updates, resources and events easily as well as gain insights on what and how needs and behaviours have changed as the working dynamic has moved more towards home and flexi working."
Community Manager

Employees and tenants case studies:
Make commuting easier for workers
Problem
Located in the center of Toronto’s business district, this large office building is accessible via a large number of public transportation options. In fact, workers had so many options, they were struggling to figure out their optimal route to work.
Solution
Equiem helped the client integrate their workplace experience platform with local transport services. As a result, they were able to check a single platform for information about options including Amtrak, buses, Uber, and even pedestrian routes.
Results
This integration has modernized the workplace experience for users in the building. From the moment they leave their home to the moment they return, their app helps to provide an efficient and totally seamless experience.

Use data to give tenants what they want
Problem
This thriving North Carolina business park wanted to design a calendar of events to set the whole site buzzing. Their goal was to adapt their existing program of food truck offerings to more accurately reflect the desires of their tenants.
Solution
We used Equiem’s polling functionality to run a campaign asking tenants what they wanted from the events. Tenants were able to tell us directly what they wanted from these events, down to the type of cuisine they preferred.
Results
Nearly half of all tenants responded to the poll. This allowed our client to perfect their food truck offerings, offer tenants in-demand food options, and – ultimately – left users and tenants feeling more satisfied at work.
Connecting users to onsite sustainability projects
Problem
Situated on Sydney’s waterfront, this vibrant office complex boasts a sprawling garden designed to keep workers connected with the natural environment. But if workers were going to reap the benefit, they needed to know about it.
Solution
Equiem created posts on the tenant portal to ensure that workers were aware of the flora in their midst. Today, the occupants are regular visitors to the garden, and the concierge always has paper bags so that they can pick some herbs to take home at no cost.
Results
Not only does this garden act as a quiet place for reflection and meditation, it also brings a brand new flavor to the urban business precinct experience. Workers have even been known to use the herbs to make fresh tea!
